Summer antics from the Fivester!
Hi Ritchie! So what's going on in Five land?
It's all good, cheers. We've finally finished the album and we're just waiting to find out when we're going to release the next single. It's gonna be very soon! We've recorded some good stuff and we can't wait to let everyone hear it. Oh, and we're doing an outdoor gig in Chelmsford at the end of August!
Lovely - we can't wait! Seeing as it's summer, tell us about the last holiday you went on.
The band have all been away recording and doing gigs and stuff, but the last proper holiday I went on would have been about a year ago now. I was supposed to be going somewhere a really long way away but I had to change our plans at the last minute and went to Cyprus. It was good though, I had a laugh!
Jolly good! So what book are you reading at the moment? A cool summer novel?
Far from it! I've been getting into spiritual books lately. In fact, I've just finished The Celestine Prophesy, a really heavy book. It's pretty deep stuff, so I wouldn't really recommend it for a light summer read. Check out a Harry Potter book or something - that would be better for chilling on the beach and lazing in the sun!
D'ya like to party in the sun?
Of course! I haven't been out for a while, but I'm looking forward to a brilliant summer on the town! The last party I went to was Bryan Westlife's 21st birthday bash at a club called Propaganda in London, it was a really good night - I bet you saw the pics in the paper.
So what are you listening to on your Walkman at the moment?
Actually, I've just bought this great album that I'd really recommend. They're a band called CREED and they've got this song called HIGHER on the album HUMAN CLAY. I know we're a pop band, but you've got to check it out! It's very good stuff.
Ta for the tip, Ritchie! So before you go, can you tell us a cool summer movie to watch?
I haven't been to the cinema for ages! The last movie I saw was Billie Elliot and I thought it was dead good. Go and rent it, but if you don't like it, please don't blame me!
